Our Story

Founded in 2019 by wilderness enthusiast Marcus Thompson, Exploriah was born from a simple belief: that Canada's pristine wilderness should be accessible to everyone, while being protected for future generations. What started as weekend adventures with friends has evolved into Manitoba's premier adventure travel company.

Our name "Exploriah" combines "explore" with the Hebrew suffix "-iah," meaning "God is with us" - reflecting our deep respect for the natural world and the spiritual connection many find in wilderness experiences. We believe that nature has the power to transform, heal, and inspire, and our mission is to facilitate these profound connections.

Over the years, we've guided thousands of adventurers through Canada's most breathtaking landscapes, from the rugged shores of Hudson Bay to the ancient forests of Riding Mountain National Park. Each expedition is carefully crafted to balance excitement with education, ensuring our guests leave with both incredible memories and a deeper understanding of Canada's natural heritage.
